Children’s Hospital Los Angeles
Founded in 1901, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is a world-renowned center that dedicates its care to pediatric and adolescent health. For over 110 years, CHLA has provided care in about 100 pediatric sub-specialties, with nearly 5,000 physicians and health care staff to provide the best care for its patients.
CHLA has been affiliated with the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California since 1932. All funds raised by Trojan Dance Marathon will go directly to CHLA through Children’s Miracle Network, an international non-profit organization that helps support local children hospitals.

The mission of CHLA is to make a difference in the lives of children, adolescents, and their families by integrating medical care, education, and research to provide the highest quality care and service to make a difference in the community. This is evident in the fact that CHLA treats more than 62,000 children a year in its Emergency Department. In addition, it admits more than 11,000 children a year to the hospital, and nearly 50 percent of those admissions are children under four years of age. There are about 287,000 visits a year to its 29 outpatient clinics and laboratories and nearly 2,800 visits at community sites through its Division of Adolescent Medicine. CHLA is able to offer the optimum in multidisciplinary care, with eighty-five pediatric subspecialties and dozens of special services for children and families.
