We are a family of organized, enthusiastic, and active student leaders who plan yearlong For The Kids. You don't have to be great at dancing! From holding dancer meetings, sending out newsletters, to creating dancer handbooks, Dancer Relations is all about how to best accommodate our DM Heroes.
Brainstorm and draft plans for PR and marketing campaigns to promote all our events. They work closely with Design, Multimedia and Social Media assistants for the best push.
Multimedia works to film videos and take pictures of all events and moments. They create our promotional videos, recruitment videos, and strive to show others an inside-look of Dance Marathon!
Design for logos, banners, flyers, graphics, apparels, merchandise and so on! If you have artistic skills and ideas to grab attention, DMPC has a spot for you!
Work with our PR team to schedule posts for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other mediums to share with DM lovers important announcements, events and so on! Figure out the ways to best use social media as a marketing tool!
Plan events along other student organizations on campus, recruit dancers and DMPCers, and find the best way to inform our campus of the philanthropic need. We love collaborating with other organizations!
Reach out to Greek organizations to plan games, teams and competitions for them! We try to engage our Greek dancers with DM before, during and after events!
Reach out to local high schools and other collegiate dance marathons, plan events, and form a strong network!
Keep a strong relationship with Children's Hospital Los Angeles as we plan events with them and update them on our progress. They also connect with Miracle Children and their families!
Responsible for ALL operations including day-of-event. Making sure our events run smoothly with venues, equipments, security, scheduling and all other aspects!
Working with performers, dance groups, bands (even the USC Spirits of Troy), song girls, DJs etc. to brighten up our event! How could we keep our amazing dancers entertained for 12 hours? It's up to you!
In charge of coordinating events like Holiday and Gameday Parties to promote awareness For The Kids! Designing our fun activities, theme hours, and the famous line dance each year. They also work closely with DM morale captains to pump up the crowd!
Plan fundraising events like tailgate fundraisers, restaurant fundraisers, and so on. Also offers help to dancers and individuals who need tips on fundraising!
Corporate Committee reaches out to business and companies for service, in-kind or monetary donations . We pride ourselves with raffle prizes at the events that are donated by our sponsors!
We partner up with local businesses to get food and drinks for all events and the Dance Marathon. We've had more than 90% of our food donated in the past thanks to our amazing sponsors! Join to feed our dancers and donors!
